How do I book a commission? If you would like to book a commission please get in touch via email at lisa.s.desouza@gmail.com and I will be able to discuss my availability.
Is there a waiting list? Yes generally there is a lead time of 6-10 weeks. The end of the year is always busy with Christmas bookings so do get in early to book your slot.
Do I need to pay in full when I book? No. When you book your commission in I require a 25% deposit to secure your slot and cover materials. The balance is then paid on completion.
How do I pay? Payments can be made via BACS or via Pay Pal - further details will be given when your booking is confirmed
How long will my portrait take? I generally allow approximately 2 weeks to produce your portrait depending on its complexity.
What do I need to provide? In order for me to produce the truest likeness for your portrait I need a good clear photograph to work from. Ideally several photographs as reference ensure I can be as accurate as possible. If the photographs are not clear enough I may not be able to work from them.
How will I receive my portrait? I mount all my portraits in a neutral mount. The mount offers some stability to protect your portrait in transit. If your portrait requires posting it will be securely wrapped and packed and sent via insured courier. Collection in person from my home in Fleet, Hants is always welcome.
